As I watch the 9/11 ceremony I think how the innocence of the USA has changed over the years. I remember when we were not scared of buying things at the store that did not have a tamper proof lid. I remember when schools did not have to worry about a safety plan to deal with shootings. And I remember a time when we were not scared of a bunch of faceless murdering cowards. The great thing about the USA is that after each one of these things we learn and get stronger. We still embrace the weak.
