I thought I knew Garmin pretty good. Go to the main menu and see if they're under points there. Sent you a PM

On the 4212 the menu selection to get to the waypoint list from the manual is Information-user data - waypoints
This only shows 55 of over 700 points

Do you have any cables that you can hook a laptop running Garmin Mapsource up to it?
JustFish
I can use an SD card to download or upload either to my computer or to the unit
magnum PI2

JustFish
Sold the lowrance unit about two months ago.

JustFish,

Did you get this figured out? If not, send me a PM and let me know. I can go out to my 4212 when I get home and check to see where all my waypoints are located. I have added 500+ from an SD card to my unit.

Charles

Hey Lee, if you have not figured out your problem, My dad will be back in town tomorrow and he is an electronic guru. I'll ask him and he can probably get you fixed up.

I uploaded a new software version using a secure digital card. The old software was 2006 and the new software is Feb 2008. It appears as though it has fixed the problem but will let you know if it doesn't. Thanks

Lee, what transducer did you get? If you did not get the New Garmin thru-hull, it makes a big difference with the GSD 22.I put one in my boat and it does the job.Easy installation from my PRO- Southern Charm.......
JustFish
I have a bronz thru the hull 12/45 deg transducer. It will read in excess of 50 mph and has a very low signature.
