Does anyone know if the party boat is still running out of downtown Brunswick? If so any lead to how much and how to get a hold of them ? Thanks Salty-dog

The only one that comes to mind is the gambling cruise, Emerlad Princess. Is that what you mean?

If your talking about the gambling boat I think its that Emerald Princess. Phone number is (local)912 265 3558 (toll free)800 842 0115. I think they leave out of here most of the time around 7pm. Price is like 10 bucks and I think that includes food. I dont know exactly how good of food you get for 10 bucks admission...but I think thats the deal. I was thinking of going on a trip to give er the good old fashioned try just hadn't got around to it. Good luck.

I'm not sure about downtown Brunswick, but there is a party boat running out of Jekyll. Here is the link:Offshore Charters

There has never been a "head-boat" based in Brunswick. The one on J E K Y L L is a joke. For 50 bucks they will carry you around the point of the south end of Jekyll and if it's a real good day and you are really lucky you might catch a whiting or two along with a few stingrays. |

Salty-Dog,
I don't think Party boats are referred to as such here in the south. They are called that in N.Y. and other Northern States. They pretty much call them charters here for some reason. -------------------- Captain Joe Toth

Now Then!!!!! Different story!!!!! A "HEAD BOAT" charges so much per person and carries 20-50 passengers who way or may not know each other.... A "CHARTER BOAT" is usually limited to about 6 anglers who all know each other and charter the boat exclusively for themselves... The going rate for "HEAD BOATS" is currently about $50 per head..... The CHARTER BOAT rates range from $350-$1000 per day depending upon the total time and/or distance..... Obviously an inshore charter would be considerably less that a Gulfstream trip... There have been several CHARTER boats that have worked out of Brunswick Landing Marina (the marina the Emerald Princess departs from) but that was several years ago... So far as I know no one takes charters from there currently.... -------------<" ){{{{{*>< |
