SSIPionner, my girlfriend, and I headed out to G reef today to do some trolling. We started off by catching two sharpnose sharks which was not particularly exciting then the fun began. We brought in the head of the first king that was torn to peices by cudas. Next, We landed a nice spanish that got away at the boat followed by several cuda. The next thing that came into that boat was something that i would have never thought we would have caught today, a nice mahi mahi. After that we managed to catch another king and a pretty good size cobia. It was my first trip out to the reef and it will be one i will never forget. We also saw a manta ray splashing up at the top which was exciting.

JA - .......The Surprise is not old; no one would call her old. She has a bluff bow, lovely lines. She's a fine seaboat: weatherly, stiff and fast … very fast, if she's well handled. No, she's not old; she's in her prime. 86' Wellcraft 20 Fisherman - engine don't work 1979 Alumnacraft 14 - boat got holes in it 2006 WS Tarpon160f - "Mudd Butt" - does 4kts max |
