Ever notice on about the fourth line in the upper left of the screen the system knows when you last visited the CO boards. You'll see a warm welcome, something like -

Welcome back; your last visit was: Today, 08:14 AM

One reason the system keeps track of your last visit is to facilitate a feature that allows you to view the new post that have occurred since your last visit. If you look in the upper right area of the screen you'll see a selector labeled "View New Post". Clicking the "View New Post" link will show you all post, in all forums, since your last visit.

Ever loose one of your recent posts? With the diverse forum areas found on the CO boards it’s not hard to loose a post. One quick way to find a recent post is to click on the “My Assistant” link in the upper right of the screen. A small pop-up window will appear and the last selector will be “My last 10 posts”.

Clicking on this link will bring up a page with your last 10 post. At the bottom of each the forum where the post was made is listed. Next to the forum name you’ll see “Post Preview” and a number. If you click on the number the system will take you to that topic.

Suggestion, Complaints or Even a word of thanks....

Ever want to make a suggestion or have a complaint about something on the Coastal Outdoors but you don't want to air it to the world in a post? It's easy enough to send a private message to the administrators or the moderators at CO. Just click the "My Assistant" link in the upper right of the screen and a small pop-up window will appear with a link titled "The moderator team". When you click on that link a page listing all of the admins and moderators will come up. Each of them has a PM button on the right of the screen. Feel free to communicate whatever is on your mind. We really do want to hear from you.
