Ok folks for those intrested, The FMSFC has asked that I do a Sheep Head seminar for the upcomming 5th annual FMSFC SHEEP HEAD TOURNEY IN FEB. It will be done in conjunction with the monthly meeting on Feb 2nd. I'll cover the basics on how to get these bad boys offshore, rigs, equipment, structure ect If you have attended any of the others I have done in the past, the presentation will be done along the same lines With hands on knots/ rigs ect. If anyone is intrested just sign up here on the boards so we get an Idea of how many folks are attending. No cost involved come on out meet the guys and maybe get a tip or two on sheephead fishing. Oh yea I almost forgot.....have some fun too!!! cool.gif

I've been waiting for this meeting to meet all the folks, and now a seminar to boot. You can count me in.

Stan, I plan to attend if possible and bring my son as well. He's more into the offshore than I am. Maybe try to raise Sea note as well. Carl

That will be great.

Folks I hope I didn't put out the wrong idea. It's not a requirement to fish the tourney to attend the seminar. The FMSFC just thought it would be a good idea to do it just prior to the tourney. It's free and all are welcome to attend. biggrin.gif

Thanks for the intrest Lamar, I was told today by phone the club has rented the wetland building at the JF Gregory Park In Richmond hill for this. It's a very nice facility at the back of the park.Origanally it was going to be at the FT, Mac marina where we hold our monthly meetings. But decided to to it in a much more comfortable setting. Hence the change of date by 1 day.

For anyone who has attended the Richmond Seafood Festival, That is the location 7 PM on the 1st of Feb. This is a very easy place to access from I95. I was also told that the club was going to provide some sort of dinner like they do at all club meetings. Should be a fun evening and get to meet a lot of folks from the club and hopefully the boards.

I will get some very accurate directions to the facility and a hard date/ time and post them after this weekend.

Stan,
I plan on being there and maybe even make the senior Tnail show up as well. I also believe that Black Pearl is trying to make it as well.
